| From: Abhishek Singh, Vizon Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Position: Data Engineer/Big Data Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC or Oakland, CA (LOCAL ONLY - Hybrid) 12 Months technical screening for 30 min Coder pad assessment (can use any programming language but preferrable Python and Scala) - Sr. Software Engineer with strong experience in data pipelining - Write code, build framework for data pipeline and implement the data pipelines for different data sets - Work on google cloud native tooling - Going to develop data framework and implement the framework Top 3 Skills: Programming Language: Python and Scala Bigquery, Dataflow and Airflow/Composer scheduler/executor framework on Google Cloud Platform Scala, PubSub, Akka, Dataflow on Google Cloud Platform Work Set-up: 3 days in the office any 3 days is fine (Tues and Thu preferrable) Charlotte location is also fine but preferred to be in Oakland but needs to be onsite Long term contract (more than 1 year) Requirements Dynamic server-side OOP languages; Scala, Java, C++, PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, or similar; design patterns, algorithms, statistics, programming languages, networking and operating systems; web application internals and common technologies; deployment strategies production infrastructure; Kafka, BigQuery, Dataflow, Spark, Akka-Http, GRPC, BigTable, JavaScript frameworks; application scalability at any application tier; SQL, relational database schema design and ORM technologies; and Agile/Scrum practices.
