A leading energy company is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to provide top-tier documentation and support for Energy Delivery Operations. This hybrid position requires working t hree days on-site in New Albany, OH , and two days remotely each week. **Please include a professional technical writing sample Responsibilities: Collaborate with SMEs to analyze and document business processes using Visio. Create clear, comprehensive process flows and swimlane diagrams. Content Development & Editing: Develop and update procedure documents, ensuring consistency, readability, and accuracy. Proofread and edit documents for grammar, spelling, and format. Organize moderate to complex technical topics into cohesive documents. Work closely with other departments to review and refine procedures. Establish guidelines for procedure revisions, standards, and documentation practices. Maintain professionalism and promote adherence to corporate policies and ethical standards. Manage tasks independently, ensuring project timelines are met. Build and maintain relationships with team members and SMEs to facilitate collaboration. Address and resolve project concerns in a timely manner. Collaboration & Standards Adherence: Project Ownership & Communication: Required Skills & Qualifications: Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio). Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat. Experience: 4-5 years of technical writing experience, including business process mapping. Strong ability to work with and interview SMEs. Education: Bachelors degree in Journalism or a related technology degree with a focus on technical communication. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently. Preferred Skills: Previous experience in the energy sector or utility industries is a plus.
