| From: Sai Charan Kasina, Sanrose Information Services Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Project Manager Client: Florida department of Corrections Location: Tallahassee, Fl Duration: Long term Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree, from an accredited college/university, in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience Required Experience: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification; Five (5) or more years managing successful, large-scale projects that include multiple diverse teams; Five (5) or more years utilizing project software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, etc. to track and maintain projects; Five (5) or more years developing and maintaining detailed project plans based on work breakdown structures; Five (5) or more years of experience with PMO methodologies and documentation; Five (5) or more years with meeting facilitation and documentation; Five (5) or more years creating and presenting internal and external status reports; Five (5) or more years with Risk and Issue Management; Experience with completing project deliverables within scope, schedule, costs and quality constraints; Ability to coordinate numerous project teams and effectively conduct the initiative to meet overall objectives; Ability to provide effective communicating collaborative skills; and Experience providing excellent leadership and negotiation skills. Preferred Experience: Certification in Agile or Scrum-based Project Management; Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management Foundations Certified; Experience managing large projects with a large distributed user base; Experience managing both waterfall and agile projects; Experience with state government projects; Experience managing and reporting projects in compliance with Rule 60GG-1, Florida Administrative Code; Experience working with technical programming teams; Ability to demonstrate a take charge, can-do attitude with the initiative to solve complex problems; Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders; Skills in negotiation and mediation; Skills in facilitation and team building; Knowledge of IT standards in a criminal justice environment; Experience managing large projects with a large user base; Experience managing vendor projects; Knowledge in other IT areas such as programming, data analytics, etc.; and Team player with a high-energy level and diligent work ethic, ability to meet or exceed deadlines, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, ability to organize and prioritize activities.
