Scope and Qualifications 7) Responsible for escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately. 8) Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources based on requirements and performance. 9) Work with agency staff to acquire IT vendor support and services as required. 10) Coordinate communication with all areas that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed. 11) Comply with and enforce all FWC agency policies, procedures, and security policies. 12) Remote work for this position is contemplated but must be available for initial on-site setup and regular meetings at FWC offices in Tallahassee, Florida. Preference is for local/Regional (Tallahassee, Florida, or North/West/Central Florida) candidates. Qualification Requirements for Contractor: Education and Experience 1. Education level: bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field or equivalent work experience. Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required. 2. Project management experience: 7+ years of IT work experience, including 4 or more years leading IT projects. Specific experience managing custom (IT) application development projects is preferred.
