Role: Windows Systems Engineer Location: Remote Duration: Long term Job Description: Minimum 10-14 years of experience with Windows Server 2008, 2012 R2 and 2016 Administration. Monitoring of Domain Controller, Managing Active directory user accounts. DNS, DHCP configuration and management. IIS Installation and Configuration. VPN Server and Client configuration. File Sharing and Storage management. Windows Firewall with Advanced Security. Backing up and recovering Windows 2008/2012/2016 and Active Directory and other data Installation of client operating Systems, Service Packs and Application Software's. Responsible to monitor whether all components are available for successful communication. Timely analyze whether any repairs or replacements is needed System Assembling and Software & Package Installation Perform ongoing performance tuning Hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required Diagnoses and resolves end-user network problems. Responsible to install, set up, maintain network, and also configure peripherals, Cabling and equipment's accordingly as per requirement Timely analyze whether any repairs or replacements is needed, Responsible for maintaining network & troubleshooting network related issues Maintaining & troubleshooting network printers, Responsible for troubleshooting Internet issues WLAN and local-area network access problems Linux: Very good knowledge and hands on experience with Red Hat-based Linux operating system Installation of operating system and system updates, patches, version upgrades per vendor recommendations - automation Experience with Hypervisor - VMware Monitors and audit system logs for system and network anomalies Create & maintain documentation regarding configurations, operations and troubleshooting procedures related to the Linux platform Understanding of underlying infrastructure components including network, storage and server cluster design and implementation Must have excellent communication and customer service skills, personal initiative, and self-discipline.
