Status reporting and Project Management What are the chances for extension: Very Likely - Primary skill: Domain Business Analyst - Must-have skills: Retirement/Group Insurance/Institutional Banking, Recordkeeping, JIRA - Good-to-have skills: Money Movement, Plan Management Responsibilities: - Business Analyst would be responsible for analyzing retirement plans (like 401(k), IRA, 403(b), 401(a), 457(a), etc.) defining scope, data, and setup requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirement details and prioritize them. Ensure successful delivery of features that meet customer needs. BA should have a strong understanding of agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and strong retirement domain knowledge. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. - Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to understand needs, challenges, and objectives. - Elicit, document, and analyze onboarding requirements for new retirement plans. - Develop clear and concise user stories and functional specifications. - Write detail business requirements for setting up initial plan, contribution limit monitoring, vesting, loans, etc. as per the retirement plan contract. - Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. - Maintain and track query clarification related to plan implementation and requirement traceability matrix. - Manage project scope, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. - Collaborate with Business, and ensure right data elements are implemented as part of initial configurations - Review and validate the implementation of plan requirements on the core and peripheral systems - Evaluate potential solutions and technologies, assessing their alignment with contractual agreements, effectiveness, and impact. - Support test analyst(s) by providing inputs and clarification on various validation scenarios - Revalidate post-production functional defects (if any) - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements documents, process maps, and user guides. - Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. - Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in retirement services. Skill / Experience: - 5-years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the financial services or retirement services industry. - Deep experience/knowledge in Retirement plan offering (401(a), 401(k), 403(b), 457(a), etc.,) - Working experience on Agile, DevOps. - Experience in developing Test Plans, Test Strategy, Test Scope, Traceability Matrix - Working experience on OMNI is preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficient in MS Office Suite, with experience in data analysis tools preferred. - Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to retirement plans a plus. Financial Knowledge: - Types of retirement accounts: IRAs, 401(k)s, Roth IRAs, pensions, and health savings accounts (HSAs). - To have good knowledge and experience in US Retirement Services. - Offer Selection and Mgmt (Onboarding (plan/sponsor/participant, setup & change). - Tax implications: Understanding of tax laws and regulations related to retirement savings and distributions. - Products and Services: understanding of Retirement product offerings, including annuities, investment accounts, life insurance, and retirement planning tools. - Plan rules and regulations: Knowledge of plan specific rules, enrollment procedures, contribution limits, withdrawal options, and loan features.
