Job Title: Data Business System Analyst Location: 100% Remote ( Work time will be as per EST ) Type: : Long Term Contract Required Skills: SQL, Python, Data Analytics , Databricks architecture, Unity Catalog, Collibra data catalogue and data governance modules Candidate should be comfortable working in onshore and offshore model. About you: Hold a Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, economics, or MBA Bring 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data analysis Have hands-on experience with and understanding of the following: SQL Python or other programming language Databricks or other cloud data management platform Technical and business data cataloging Logical data modeling, including experience designing logical data models ETL/ELT tools such as Apache Airflow Data dictionary development Bring proven experience in data management, requirements management, and metadata management About the role: Collaborate with business leaders to define requirements and priorities and to proactively understand and update metric logic and definition Develop technical requirements (e.g., aggregation level, granularity) based on metrics established by business teams Design logical data model and orchestration requirements Own and manage logical data model for the Enterprise Analytics team in tandem with ingestion and curation leads Oversee data catalog entries and enforce data cataloging rules Manage access controls for end data products Manage change requests to the structure, definitions and/or security of identified data objects Communicate with the Business Data System Owner and Business Data Steward on metric updates Act as escalation point for Data Quality Analysts when defined processes are insufficient to resolve issues Role Overview: This role will be responsible for translating business needs into technical requirements, managing logical data models, and working closely with ingestion and curation teams.
