Adhere to standard configuration for servers and recommends changes as needed for improved server performance or management .Identify the need for and assist with the documentation of processes and procedures. Technical Requirements Install, configure and maintain Redhat & SUSE Linux on HPE Superdome and Synergy Hardware Install and configure HA environment using HP Service Guard and SUSE Pacemaker. Patch and Package administration Install, upgrade, & administer tools & agents. Configure and administer LVM, tune filesystems (Synchronous and asynchronous I/O), online JFS Write scripts to accomplish day to day system administration task Troubleshoot Hardware and Operating system related issue Understanding of SAN and NAS storage. Configure Unix Security baseline & server hardening Security Administration Add/remove/Troubleshoot Security Policies Essential Skills: Linux: HPE Superdome, RHEL, SUSE, & HP-UX, HP Service Guard, LVM, SAP HANA/S4 appliance administration.
