Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Windows Systems Engineer with expertise in managing and optimizing Windows environments. This role requires a solid understanding of Active Directory and related technologies, along with a strong aptitude for scripting and automation. Key Responsibilities: Active Directory Administration: Oversee and manage Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP configurations. Handle file system permissions, DFS configurations, and Certificate Services. Manage Remote Desktop Services and associated licensing. Maintain a clean and efficient Active Directory environment, including design and organization. Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts using Power for automating repetitive tasks. Utilize scripting to enhance system efficiency; familiarity with Python is advantageous. Additional Technical Expertise: Basic understanding of Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, and SharePoint is beneficial. Experience with Azure Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), and identity providers (idP). Knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and VMware Horizon.
