Senior APIGEE Developer with GCP cloud Location: Memphis TN ( Local to TN or nearby states only; 3 days per week onsite; HYBRID) GC USC GCEAD H4EAD only Solid profile is must . Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior APIGEE Developer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and implement API management solutions for our enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of API design and architecture, extensive hands-on experience with Apigee Edge/API Gateway, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: API Design and Development: Design, build, and deploy APIs using Apigee Edge. Implement API proxies, security policies, and transformations. Ensure APIs are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability. Google Cloud Integration: Integrate APIs with Google Cloud services like Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, and BigQuery. Utilize GCP tools for monitoring and troubleshooting APIs. Security and Compliance: Implement secure API solutions, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API key management. Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and protocols. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and product managers, to deliver API solutions aligned with business goals. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Monitoring and Optimization: Use Apigee analytics and GCP monitoring tools to track API performance and usage. Identify and resolve bottlenecks or issues proactively. Documentation and Support: Create and maintain detailed API documentation, including specifications and usage guides. Provide ongoing support for deployed APIs, including troubleshooting and upgrades. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in API development and management using Apigee Edge. Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including IAM, Compute Engine, and Kubernetes Engine. Expertise in API security frameworks such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, or Cloud Build). Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Preferred Skills: Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus. Experience with GraphQL APIs. Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like Stackdriver or Splunk.
