 LFI Business Analyst & Delivery Lead  

Location: Hybrid-Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities:

Seeking a LFI (Large Financial Institution) Business Analyst & Delivery Lead
 (Contract to hire) to join our IT Lending & Ops segment team
 of highly motivated individuals.

This position is:

Ideal for an individual who has a blend of business analysis, project delivery, and financial systems expertise, and is capable of managing cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective solution delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for working with data.

This person must have a deep understanding of financial products, operation, and risk management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of LFI Dual Risk Rating program from IT side by collaborating with key business and IT stakeholders, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with audit requirements.
Collaborate with Central Credit Administration and IT teams to understand business needs and financial requirements.
Collaborate closely with the enterprise data team to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely processing of risk data.
Work closely with project managers to track milestones by following IT Processes (SDLC) and Engineering Standards
Define and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring they align with both business objectives and technical constraints.
Develop user stories, use cases, and process flows to ensure clear communication of requirements to respective teams.
Assist with data mapping, data migration, and system configuration as part of the integration process.
Review and manage Business Requirement Documents, assist UAT, and work with technology teams to remediate issues.
Identify potential risks and issues, and proactively develop mitigation plans.
Ensure effective communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
Communicate project status, risks, and changes clearly and effectively to all relevant parties.
Provide regular updates on project progress, including risks, issues, and mitigation actions.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience in risk analysis, risk management, or related filed, preferably within Banking or Financial Services.  
Strong understanding of dual risk rating (DDR) frameworks and methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with a focus on delivery and meeting deadlines.
Ability to query data in SQL-based databases with 2-3 years of experience writing SQL queries.
Expertise in data modeling, data validation, and database design.
Understanding of cloud-based financial systems and enterprise architecture.
Experience with integration middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, ADF, etc.) is a plus
