Job Summary

:

We are seeking an experienced

Systems Analyst

to lead and manage projects focused on promoting IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and guiding Infrastructure and Operations maturity using ITSM methods. This role will involve working with Service Management tools such as

ServiceNow

and

Remedy

to optimize processes and drive efficiency within the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ITIL governance processes and the ability to manage cross-functional teams, while developing and implementing strategic and tactical solutions to improve IT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

:

Lead the development and implementation of ITSM initiatives, focusing on improving service delivery and operational maturity.

Develop and manage projects that promote IT Service Management principles and best practices across the organization.

Apply ITIL governance processes to align infrastructure and operations with industry standards and business objectives.

Act as the key point of contact between business analysts, technical experts, and process owners to resolve service-level issues and ensure effective collaboration.

Translate technical concepts into actionable business strategies, ensuring alignment between IT teams and business units.

Oversee the use of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Remedy to streamline service management processes and improve efficiency.

Lead efforts to improve service quality within cost and business constraints, demonstrating innovative thinking to meet business goals.

Manage outsourced IT services and vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Use analytical and statistical tools to evaluate service performance and identify areas for improvement.

Ensure adherence to project management best practices, overseeing the execution of projects from planning through completion.

Provide leadership and mentoring to teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications

:

Minimum Requirements

:

8+ years

of experience with ITSM and ITIL governance processes.

Strong ability to think and act strategically and tactically, with experience in knowing when to apply each approach.

Excellent oral, written, presentation, and facilitation communication skills.

Solid technical understanding, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.

Extensive experience implementing IT Service Management best practices beyond theory, with hands-on experience in service delivery.

Proven credibility and the ability to build strong relationships with IT and business leaders at all levels.

Experience working with cross-functional teams (business analysts, technical experts, process owners) to resolve service level issues and improve service delivery.

Strong understanding of IT Outsourcing

and Managed Services.

Ability to apply statistical, numerical, and analytical principles to improve IT service management.

Demonstrated innovative thinking and a focus on improving service quality within cost and business constraints.

Experience adhering to and implementing Project Management best practices.

8+ years

of experience working with ITSM service tools, specifically ServiceNow and Remedy.

Preferred Qualifications

:

5+ years

of proficiency in Remedy On Demand.

4+ years

of experience with ITIL V3 or V4 certification.

4+ years

of PMP Certification or equivalent project management credentials.

4+ years

of experience in Business Process Engineering.

4+ years

of Technical Writing/Formal Documentation skills.

Experience with ServiceNow integrations, especially with external business partners and supporting cloud service providers like AWS.

3+ years

of training experience in ITSM-related topics.

1+ year

of experience with ServiceNow security operations and familiarity with DevOps tools like Jira and Gitlab.
