Azure Cloud Engineer Location: Chicago IL ( Local to IL only; 2-3 days onsite per week; HYBRID) USC only Solid profile is must. Job Description: The goal of this project is to streamline and automate their Azure Active Directory access control process using Power in accordance with the best cyber security practices, ensuring standardization at group level and compliance with HIPAA audits. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement automation scripts using Power or Terraform. Manage and optimize Azure cloud services and infrastructure components. Standardize and automate security controls within Active Directory environments. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistent and reproducible environments. Collaborate with IT team members to design and implement best practices for system management and operations. Independently lead projects from conception to completion, including documentation and post-implementation reviews. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, continuously improving our systems and processes. Skillset/Qualifications: Proven experience in automating tasks and workflows in an Azure environment. Strong experience with Power scripting or Terraform. In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, including automation of controls and security practices. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and common tools and practices in the industry. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement solutions with a focus on improving system reliability and efficiency.
