Job Title: OEM (Juniper Manufacturer) Juniper MIST Resident Engineer Location: REMOTE Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description: Provide ongoing staff supplementation subject matter expertise level support to the VA Technical Leadership Team with transforming their LAN environment from Cisco to Juniper MIST across the country. This includes testing the configuration model, troubleshooting, advising, implementing, and documenting. Qualifications: SME level knowledge and proven experience as a Juniper OEM resource with reach-back to Juniper experts for troubleshooting. Seasoned experience with architecting and configuring LAN transformation from Cisco to Juniper MIST. Juniper MIST AI experience is highly desirable. Extensive network engineering, testing and implementation experience. Strong work ethic, highly responsive, dependable, and self-directed, problem-solver that is fully committed to the designated shift. Leadership that builds trust and has an advisory, consultative style. Good team player that takes initiative and works collaboratively. Resourceful and can identify issues to resolution and keep project moving forward. Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with discernment, sensitivity, technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface with the customer daily. Innovative with curiosity and desire to stay abreast of ongoing technology and software advancements. Requirements: Bachelors Degree plus a minimum of 15 years experience in an IT-related role.
