This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration to ensure the seamless deployment and management of applications. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production environments. Optimize Kubernetes deployments for scalability, resilience, and performance. Manage and troubleshoot issues within Kubernetes clusters, including networking, storage, and resource configurations. Architect, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment. Integrate testing frameworks to ensure high-quality releases. Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for provisioning and managing infrastructure. Monitor and improve system performance, security, and availability. Work with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, P) to build and optimize infrastructure. Implement cost-effective and scalable cloud solutions. Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment between infrastructure and application needs. Provide mentorship to junior engineers and promote best practices. Implement and enforce DevSecOps practices. Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and auditing requirements Required Skills: Proven experience with Kubernetes in production environments. Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, etc.). Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Go). Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or P. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar). Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPNs, Load Balancers). Preferred Skills: Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). Background in microservices architecture and distributed systems. Experience in disaster recovery and high-availability systems. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years in DevOps roles, with 5+ years working directly with Kubernetes.
