Role : SAP ABAP Location: Kansas City, MO:: Onsite Role :: Type : Contract Role Description: Develop and implement SAP product solutions based on business requirements using SAP technologies, including ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, and SAP S/4HANA. Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support of custom SAP products and solutions. Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design and develop new functionality for SAP products, ensuring they are scalable, robust, and meet business needs. Customize and configure SAP solutions, focusing on optimizing business processes in areas such as finance, procurement, logistics, and supply chain. Work on enhancing the existing SAP product solutions, ensuring they meet evolving business requirements and industry standards. Integrate SAP products with third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization between SAP and external platforms. Perform thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing of SAP product solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the SAP environment, offering timely solutions to minimize downtime. Keep up with emerging SAP technologies and trends, contributing to the development of new and innovative SAP products. Document code, technical specifications, and processes for knowledge transfer and future maintenance of SAP products. Provide ongoing support for SAP product solutions, ensuring their continuous improvement and optimization. Participate in SAP product lifecycle management, including upgrades, patches, and migrations. Essential Skills: We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Developer with following skills: Should have strong background in SAP development Experienced in SAP Product Development (PD) Specifically focused on designing and building custom solutions, products, and applications within the SAP ecosystem. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP development, specifically within the context of product development (SAP PD). Strong hands-on experience in ABAP programming and development of SAP products. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP UI5, and other SAP technologies for product development. Experience in the design, development, and integration of custom SAP solutions, with a deep understanding of SAP product architecture. Solid understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, PP, and their integration into product solutions. Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) in SAP, as well as relevant industry best practices. Proficiency in using development tools such as SAP Web IDE, Eclipse, and other SAP development platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver high-quality solutions on time. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
