| HI Role: PostgreSQL DBA (On-prem and GCP Cloud) Location: Remote Mandatory Skills : SQL Server & PostgreSQL DBA (On-prem and GCP Cloud),AlloyDB, OLTP Job Description: Expert understanding of GCP Cloud SQL for SQL Server and PostgreSQL and AlloyDB services. In-depth knowledge of OLTP database management and migration processes. Proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning. Familiarity with GCP services : Relational Databases - Cloud SQL, Firestore Tools: Database Migration service , DataStream GCP Database Management: Design database applications, such as interfaces, data transfer mechanisms, global temporary tables, data partitions, and function-based indexes to enable efficient access of the generic database structure. Expertly manage and optimize GCP Cloud SQL for SQL Server and PostgreSQL and AlloyDB services, ensuring high performance and scalability. Capacity Planning: Assess current and future capacity requirements for GCP - CloudSQL SQLSever/PostgreSQL/AlloyDB databases. Plan for and implement capacity expansions as needed. Good to Have : Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Power. Experience with automation tools like Terraform and Ansible Non-Technical Skills: Should have a very good troubleshooting and analytical skills. Should be very good at communication, quick learner and should be ready to present thoughts and ideas. Should not hesitate to ask questions and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
