Manage computerized accounting systems and assess internal accounting controls and external auditing procedures. Collaborate with Leadership on policy matters and assist with the implementation of new or updated accounting systems while ensuring adherence to departmental procedures. Support the preparation of monthly reports and Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports (CAFR), conduct periodic payroll and cash analyses, and reconcile balance sheets. Develop training materials and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping staff and create necessary forms.
