| Title:- Data Analyst Remote Contract No H1B Snowflake is the biggest must have. Data Cataloging Data Modeling 6 month contract--Must be in one of the 7 states Georgia, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Idaho, South Carolina Responsibilities: * Data Analyst will create data profiling methods that can be applied to variety of data structures and be leveraged by data analysts, stewards and custodians for self-service data profiling * Build data profiles for enterprise data assets as part of DGO oversight activities or assigned projects. Identify insights from the profiles and review them with stakeholders * Creating and maintaining data quality metrics for enterprise data assets based on the business rules coordinated by the Data Governance team * Create and maintain data quality monitoring of identified data quality metrics for enterprise data assets; Work closely with data stewards to identify the best frequency for measuring quality * Assist with maintaining a centralized DGO dashboard summarizing the status of data governance and data quality for enterprise data assets * As a Data Analyst, you will design data cleansing procedures and scripts in partnerships with business units functional areas, and the Technology department to ensure that data quality issues are implemented in source systems * Demonstrate the DGO operating model to data stewards and data community to enable them to implement data quality practices in a self-service manner * Actively administer functionality of data governance and data quality tools; Deliver training and answer questions from data stewards about tool functionality and usage Cataloging Meta Data: * Data Lineage * Working with the Business/Stakeholders on Requirements and what is critical data * Ingesting the data catalog (Microsoft Purview) * Overall Data Quality Management * Working within the Snowflake environment * To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed * Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus Lin great profile to mimic- organized chaos, personality, taking the initiative to find that data they need CST & PST Supporting the Enterprise Data Platform: New platform for different types of data repositories that includes new data tools built around Snowflake and Azure Data Lake. This will likely have the initial scope focused on replacing the core of the current enterprise data warehouse which includes account snapshots across products (deposit, credit card, student loan, mortgage, home equity, business loans, retirement, etc.), member 360, and branch/channel. Perform all responsibilities in accordance with BECU Competencies, compliance, regulatory and Information Protection requirements.
