Role: Software Engineer with Insurance exp. 12+ months contract 100% Remote Job description: Wynsure product experience is exception now & it is not mandatory. Strong knowledge of Life Insurance lines of business (both individual and Group) and various products like Term, Whole, Universal, Disability, Critical Illness etc. Sound understanding of policy administration functions and good exposure to enrollment, underwriting, billing, Claims etc. Proficiency in object-oriented design and programming methods. Knowledge of database systems (MS SQL preferred) and data query procedures. XML or related technologies exposure a plus. Experience with WYDE development tools or the WYNSURE Insurance application highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal and strong documentation skills with excellent oral and written communication skills. Agile methodology knowledge is an advantage Process Skills: 1. Working closely with customer and propose solutions accordingly 2. Must be an individual contributor 3. Ability to support a customer on a business or/and technical level. 4. Documenting system/code changes 5. Debugging issues in current applications and proposing and/or implementing solutions 6. Assist in creating, running, and explaining demos 7. The ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 8. Must possess excellent attention to detail. Behavioural Skills: Help build a highly reliable, efficient, and scalable back end to support applications Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project. Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
