Required Skills : Java, Spark ,Restful APIs, Spark Scala Job summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Data Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience in Java, Restful APIs, Spark Scala, and Spark. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain applications using Java, Restful APIs, Spark Scala, and Spark. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions. Optimize and enhance existing applications to improve performance and user experience Provide technical expertise in the integration of data with other systems and applications. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and application functionality. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in development and incorporate them into projects. Develop and maintain documentation for applications and processes. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Mentor and guide junior developers in development techniques and best practices. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all applications and processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. Qualifications: Possess strong experience in Java, Restful APIs, Spark Scala, and Spark. Demonstrate proficiency in developing and maintaining applications. Exhibit excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Display a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies. Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus. Knowledge of data formats and standards is highly desirable Familiarity with cloud platforms and services is a nice to have. Ability to mentor and guide junior developers is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications in Java, Spark, or technologies are highly desirable.
