Job Title- QA Test lead - having hands on experience on Electric applications Location- Boston,MA Contract Position- Test Lead with hands-on expertise in testing electric applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the testing lifecycle, ensuring quality assurance, and leading a team to deliver high-quality results in the electrical domain. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, planning and executing test strategies, and ensuring the successful delivery of defect-free electric applications. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules for electric applications. Ensure test coverage aligns with product requirements and technical specifications. Execution & Coordination: Perform hands-on testing of electric applications, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and stakeholders. Collaborate with developers and engineers to identify and resolve issues. Leadership & Reporting: Lead and mentor a team of testers, ensuring efficient test execution and best practices. Provide regular reports on test progress, defect metrics, and overall quality. Ensure adherence to testing standards and protocols. Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects to closure. Analyze root causes and work with development teams to resolve issues. Tools & Automation: Utilize test automation tools to streamline and optimize testing processes. Contribute to the automation framework for electric applications where applicable. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure the applications meet regulatory and safety standards specific to the electrical domain. Maintain high-quality standards in testing processes and documentation. Required Skills & Experience: Technical Expertise: Strong experience in testing electric applications and systems. Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and their application in software/hardware. Proficiency in using testing tools, test management systems, and defect tracking tools. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of testers. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with electric systems, protocols, and standards. Experience working in industries such as automotive, energy, or industrial automation is a plus. Hands-on Testing: Experience with manual and automated testing approaches. Ability to test hardware/software integrations in the electrical domain.
