Have the following skill set: o Lightning Web Components (LWC) development o Apex programming and debugging o Salesforce data management (SOQL, SOSL) o Integration with REST/SOAP APIs o Declarative tools like Flows and Process Builder o Version control with Git or similar tools o CI/CD pipeline experience (e.g. Flosum) o Adherence to Salesforce best practices General Description of the Engagement: The Technology Services (TS) Agency of the City & County of Denver is recruiting for a full-time (40 hours per week) Salesforce Developer to develop Salesforce solutions to align with requirements for various agency solutions. The Salesforce Developer will collaborate with Technology Services teams, agency clients, and act as the point of contact for any Salesforce-related integration or customization issues. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that values innovation, collaboration, and an engaged employee culture! Engagement Start Date & Duration, Weekly Hours The start date is approximately January 8, 2025. The engagement will be 40 hours per week, reporting to Application Development. The duration of the engagement is expected to be approximately through June 30, 2025, once the schedule has been developed and approved the task order will be adjusted accordingly. Expected Responsibilities: Develop and unit test Salesforce solutions, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, etc. Collaborate with business analysts to clarify functional and technical requirements for Salesforce customizations and integrations. Communicate progress and blockers related to Salesforce integrations and customizations to the project team regularly. Utilize agile tools (Azure DevOps) to track and update the status of development tasks. Provide time and complexity estimates for Salesforce development tasks. Identify issues early, propose solutions, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address challenges. Write code adhering to Salesforce development best practices, including naming conventions, governor limits, and scalability. Commit, merge, and manage code following established version control standards. Address and resolve defects identified during testing phases efficiently.
