This is an exciting opportunity to work on-site with a collaborative team that values innovation, learning, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, microservices, and REST API development, with a focus on cloud technologies such as AWS and Node/ExpressJS. JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS - 10+ years of professional experience in Java software development, including expertise in Java 18. - Proven experience in microservices architecture and development using Spring-Boot. - Strong background in Node/ExpressJS and REST API development. - Familiarity with 12-factor applications and containerization technologies. - Hands-on experience with AWS, including Terraform for infrastructure as code. - Proficiency in using Git and GitHub for version control. - Experience working with development tools on OSX environments. - Strong knowledge of JUnit for unit testing. - Excellent understanding of software development methodologies and security best practices. - A self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead by example. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
