More in-depth skills are Technical Skills Endpoint Management: Proficiency in managing and securing endpoints using tools like Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) or Tanium (Preferred) Operating Systems: In-depth knowledge of Windows 11, and Ubuntu operating systems. (macOS is a nice to have but not at the expense of Windows and Linux.) Security: Strong understanding of endpoint security practices, including antivirus, encryption, and threat detection. This is more about installing and troubleshooting the application from a system level perspective. We are a Palo Alto shop from a security perspective. Networking: Familiarity with network protocols, VPNs, and basic troubleshooting Scripting and Automation: Skills in scripting languages such as Power (preferred proficiency), Bash, or AutoIt. (to automate tasks and improve efficiency.) Soft Skills Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Collaboration: Ability to work well with other departments and teams to achieve common goals. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing technologies and business needs. Immediate need for Technical Lead Windows Endpoint Engineer - 1 year contract with possible extensions or Perm Hire Windows Technical Lead with 10+ years of experience in IT, specializing in Windows OS configuration, endpoint management, and mobile device management within an enterprise environment. This individual should bring extensive experience in system architecture and enterprise technology integration, with strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex issues. The ideal candidate will also possess hands-on experience with Tanium, cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS), and lead a team of engineers in daily tasks and projects. Key Responsibilities Architect and Strategy Development: Lead the design, strategy, and integration of Windows OS environments, endpoint management solutions, and mobile device management, ensuring best practices in security and efficiency. Technical Leadership: Oversee and guide a team of engineers, assigning and prioritizing tasks, providing mentorship, and ensuring timely completion of projects. Tanium and Endpoint Management: Utilize Tanium for comprehensive endpoint management, ensuring secure deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across all devices. Enterprise Integration and Technology Solutions: Develop and implement enterprise technology solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and seamless integration across systems. Cloud Infrastructure Implementation: Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions, leveraging IaaS and PaaS to support scalable and secure infrastructure needs.
