The person in this role will work closely with our data warehouse team, BI developers, software engineers and external partners to build our new academic and administrative data warehouse (AADW) as part of the UW-Madison transition to Workday in July 2025. The Data Warehouse Developer will report to the Director for Data Analytics. Responsibilities: - 50% Perform data warehouse design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation - 30% Design, develop, and maintain relational databases for data storage and data mining. - 15% Assist internal database team with initial data transfers into new warehouse. - 5% Seek continuous improvement in performance of data warehouse and ensure security of data.
