The Candidates will be required too successfully complete tasks in relation to the Scope of Work defined in Section 2.3. 2.3. Scope of Work/Job Characteristics The Business Analysts will serve as the principal line of communication for the project team. The duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows: * Gathers and analyze information and specifications needed for the project team. * Engage with stakeholders to identify and document business needs, objectives, and challenges. * Conduct workshops, interviews, surveys, and meetings to gather requirements. * Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications. * Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional requirement specifications (FRS); * Prepare use cases, process flow diagrams, and system mockups to visualize solutions. * Maintain documentation for future reference and audit purposes. * Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams. * Facilitate effective communication to ensure all parties have a clear understanding of requirements. * Conduct presentations and walkthroughs for stakeholders to validate requirements. * Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately. * Test proposed solutions to verify they meet business needs (user acceptance testing - UAT); * Identify gaps and issues in the proposed solutions and suggest modifications. * Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements or optimizations; * Implement best practices and standards in business analysis and documentation; and * Provide insights into trends and patterns through data analysis. NOTE: This position is designated as essential staff and is expected to report for duty when instructed to do so in times of emergency or potential emergency as required. 3.1. Location The work will be conducted on-site, Tallahassee, Florida. 4. Requirements/Qualifications The Department is seeking six (6) full-time, on-site Business Analysts throughout the PO term of this RFQ. The positions required qualifications and preferred qualifications are described in Sections 4.1 and 4.2 and must be verifiable in the Candidates resumes. NOTE: Any successful Candidate with access to the Department's network is required to complete the Department's Security Awareness Training within 30 calendar days of hire. 4.1. Required Qualifications A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Alternatively, equivalent work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis, when applicable. The Department requires the following experience, skills, and/or knowledge for this position: * A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a technical or business role; * Strong skills in analyzing and documenting technical processes, mapping out business processes, identifying barriers, and analyzing inefficiencies; * Experience with data mapping, data modeling, and data integration between systems; * Proficiency in Microsoft Visio; and * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. NOTE: In addition to the above list, the selected Candidates must successfully complete a Level II Background Check. 4.2. Preferred Qualifications The Department prefers the Candidates to have the following experience, skills, and/or knowledge for this position: * Familiarity in business process mapping and defining current state applications in required documentation. * Experience facilitating sessions with business lership, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and users within a business function; and * Skilled in understanding web applications and common applications approaches to support business capabilities.
