The selected contractor will support, enhance, and maintain the statewide SNAP/TANF Eligibility Determination System. This role involves working with the latest technologies to integrate and interface with systems on diverse platforms and automate current processes. Key Responsibilities Analyze user requirements and designs to develop, test, implement, and perform Quality Assurance (QA) of information systems. Develop and enhance processes using NATURAL, ADABAS, MVS/JCL COBOL/CICS, VSAM, LINUX ESPSOFT/SCL, INFORMIX, and UNIX. Support automated eligibility determination systems, ensuring compliance with state and federal mandates. Provide subject matter expertise on system architectures, offering recommendations for system and process enhancements. Maintain and update documentation for procedures, policies, and processes. Train end-users on software functionality. Required Skills/Experience Technical Skill Set Skill/Experience Requirement Years of Experience Programming in NATURAL and using ADABAS | Required | 10+ | Running NATURAL processes in batch via JCL/SCL | Required | 10+ | Experience with web and client-server environments | Required | 10+ | Automated eligibility determination systems | Required | 4+ | System architecture subject matter expertise | Required | 3+ | Business Skill Set Skill/Experience Requirement Years of Experience Recommendations for system and process enhancements | Required | 3+ | Documentation for procedures, policies, and processes | Required | 3+ | End-user training on software | Required | 3+ | Technical/Business Skill Set Skill/Experience Requirement Years of Experience Knowledge of SNAP/TANF policies and mandates | Required | 2+ | Experience implementing state/federal mandates in Linux systems | Required | 2+ | Preferred Skills/Experience Effective communication skills (verbal and written). Experience converting outdated technologies to modern platforms.
