If you find yourself comfortable with the requirement please reply back with your updated resume Position: Data Engineering & Integration Consultant Location: Hybrid, Philadelphia PA Duration: 12+ Months USC/GC Only Job Description: Must have Pharmaceuticals/Life Sciences Experience Technical and Functional Skills Exposure to Big Data Analytics and Data Architecture & Modeling (Tools ERWIN) Hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerBI, PowerApps and Collaboration technologies; MS Project Online experience preferred, but not required Knowledge of data warehouse and data lake technologies Considerable knowledge of Cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS technologies Proven experience in master data management, data modeling tools and data visualization PowerBI / Spotfire / SAP BO Hands-on experience with ETL tools, middleware platforms (e.g., AWS / Mulesoft / Dell Boomi) and API development Exposure to GMP manufacturing environments Familiarity with IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies for manufacturing Experience in business process modeling Strong expertise in statistical modeling Behavioral Skills Strong written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and experience with business collaboration Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language Superior analytical, evaluation, and problem-solving abilities Exceptional service orientation Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience 12+ years of progressive experience in technical data-oriented roles in large-scale business systems transformation projects or equivalent A broad understanding of the pharmaceutical industry/healthcare industry Knowledge of Data Architecture standards, processes, methods, reference models and frameworks Technical Practices: Applies industry recognized best practices, compliance standards and techniques to prevent/minimize data redundancies across the organization Responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing (Extract, Transform and Load data into repositories, for example), and integrating data from different sources Hands-on implementation of the tools used by IT for data integration, data analytics and dashboards, with related vendor management and maintenance, upgrades and licensing renewals (e.g., PowerBI, SAS, and Spotfire) Implements new systems and/or applications adhering to existing data management practices, policies, and procedures Builds and maintains data layer technical documentation; keeps the database of IT applications and capabilities up to date (Orbus) Identifies and works closely to with business data stewards to resolve data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness, in a cost-effective and timely fashion Works collaboratively with data architect consultants and the infrastructure team to develop methods for synchronizing data entering / exiting company systems Ensures information is collected, stored, and made accessible to the right systems / people at the right time Consults and troubleshoots data-related issues Keeps abreast of changes in relevant technology and best practices and look for opportunities to apply such changes within the organization.
