TITLE: Network Architect

Visa : 
ONLY Citizens and GC Holders, no exceptions.

DURATION: 
6 months 1 year

LOCATION: 
Remote w/quarterly visits to office in Anaheim. Preference is 1 to 2 days onsite so if local candidates are preferred.

NOTE : 
Only PST candidates, must currently live in a state that is PST, no exceptions.

MUST HAVES: 

Must have held the title of Network Architect for at least the past 5 years, with 15 to 25 years of total experience in networking.

Looking for a Network Architect with broad expertise (routers, switches, wireless, etc.) who has built and designed enterprise networks for organizations with at least 3,000 employees.

The ideal candidate should also be skilled in troubleshooting and providing network support, especially during major network issues.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design:

Design and develop scalable and secure network architectures to meet business requirements.

Create detailed network diagrams and documentation.

Plan and implement network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks.

Network Implementation:

Configure network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Install and deploy network hardware and software.

Support and resolve network issues.

Network Security:

Implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.

Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and mitigation techniques.

Network Optimization:

Monitor network performance and identify bottlenecks.

Optimize network performance through configuration changes and capacity planning.

Implement network upgrades and enhancements.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other IT teams, including applications team to support application services.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their network needs.

Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong understanding of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.

Strong experience with network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Strong expertise with cloud-based network solutions

Strong expertise supporting complex networks troubleshooting and quick resolution to support uptime SLAs

Expertise of network security best practices.

Proficiency in network design and troubleshooting tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
