Strong experience in information security best practices is required. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, able to drive tasks to completion independently, and able to learn new skills on the job as project requirements expand. Deliverables: The Information Security Engineer will be held accountable for the following responsibilities: Work with senior management to provide guidance on information security topics, provide recommendations, and publish guidelines and policy. Review system and application design to ensure security is in accordance with Board Policy. Work with Customer managers to assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures. Work with system administrators and application developers to secure, monitor and validate their environments security. Establish and execute information security program directives. Architect and engineer new security systems; and evaluate technical designs and work with appropriate personnel and vendors to coordinate upgrades and maintenance to the Boards IT infrastructure.
