The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing data solutions using Snowflake. This role involves leading the architecture and design of our data platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability to support our data-driven initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures using Snowflake. Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and integrations to support business needs. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver optimal data solutions. Optimize and manage Snowflake environments, including security, performance tuning, and capacity planning. Implement data governance best practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and security. Develop and maintain ETL processes to load and transform data from various sources into Snowflake. Provide technical leadership and guidance on data architecture best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide ongoing support for Snowflake solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in data architecture and Snowflake technologies. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Data Architect with a focus on Snowflake. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes. Proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake-specific SQL extensions. Experience with data integration tools such as Talend, Informatica, Matillion, or similar. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, P) and related services. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Snowflake certification. Experience with other data warehousing solutions such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
