| Hi Contract Role: Kafka Developer with Java Expertise Exp 11 Location: Weehawken, NJ (Onsite) Only Local Rate: 55 Must-Have Skills: Kafka Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including knowledge of its core concepts (Producers, Consumers, Topics, Partitions, Brokers, Zookeeper). Java Proficiency in Java programming, with a strong focus on integrating Kafka with Java-based applications and services. JD: Apache Kafka Expertise: Solid experience in Apache Kafka, including setting up, managing, and optimizing Kafka clusters, producers, and consumers. Java Programming Skills: Strong Java development background, including working with Kafka client libraries and developing real-time data streaming applications. Stream Processing: Experience with Kafka Streams or similar tools for stream processing is highly desirable. Message Queue Management: Ability to manage message delivery, message ordering, offset tracking, and partitioning in Kafka. Real-Time Data Systems: Proven experience building and managing real-time data systems using Kafka as a central messaging platform. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Experience with monitoring Kafkas performance and troubleshooting issues like message loss, consumer lag, or message duplication.
