IT - Expert Project Manager
USC/GC

Location: - Oakland, CA. (The role is remote with monthly onsite meetings )

(**Client laptop will be provided if they live within the client's service territory. Non-local candidates must have their own device ready, or their vendor must provide them with 1 to start the assignment. All other equipment should be provided by the vendor.)

Looking for a project manager that has the following experience:
Electric Operations in a Utility
Asset Work Management (Distribution Pole, Transmission Tower, Substation)
SAP PM, SAP EAM, GIS, AWS or other cloud services
Electric Generation Interconnection / New Business connection
Website/Portal for application intake

BS in CS or equivalent
8+ years in IT project management, with focus on staffing or resource management Proficiency in PDM ; PPMC tools
Experience with managing 30+ FTEs as part of a single 12+ month project Experience with 5+ projects ($5M labor each) and 5+ PMAs ; 2 PMs from planning Proficiency in Client Satisfaction Metrics Project statistical ; variance analysis

Manages multiple large-scale, highly complex projects ($5M, 10 FTEs), by coordinating a team of Sr PMs Supports PMO leadership to optimize resource allocation
Determines budgets and staffing for business cases
Submits PMA and PM performance assessments for project stage, mid-year and year-end reviews May be called upon to take on challenged projects, closely supervising incumbent PMs
Is SME for project methodologies and financial analytics Actively mentors PMs and PMAs
