Job Role : Data Engineer/Data Visualization Specialist Location : Boston, MA Long Term Contract Domain : Data at Rest Remediation Information Protection Job Description: Possess the ability to collect, inventory, and validate structured and unstructured data at rest within a corporate environment. Have technical domain knowledge and previous experience in leading / driving tasks and execution related to Data at rest remediation in various databases and applications. Knowledge of industry network data scanning capabilities & tools (e.g., Varonis, Purview, Zscaler, etc.) as well as an understanding of Oracle, MySQL, SharePoint, Box, etc. Knowledge of access management and role-based access best practices Capable of creating presentations for regulators, audit, senior leadership associated with key outcomes. Build out processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) associated with Data at Rest and encrypted/unencrypted data Comfortable simplifying, presenting complex information. Works with data owners to develop short-term/long-term remediation plans through compensating and mitigating controls. Experience with stakeholders to establish entitlements & role-based access.
