Role Title: Business Analyst (2 openings)

Work Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ month Contract

Work Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm CST
Interview process: 2-3 rounds conducted via phone/video conference

Note: Need 5 Digit SSN with LinkedIn also need Visa and DL copy image while holding in hand.

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following specific skills/attributes:

-Experience in the healthcare industry (particularly with UnitedHealthcare, United Health Group, Optum, OptumRx
-Experience with claim management
-Knowledge of claim adjudication platforms
-Experience supporting complex data synthesis and translation into PowerPoint for executives, comfort with data analysis and synthesis, executive-level communications, -PowerPoint, consulting background helpful.

Qualifications:
-As a Business Analyst supporting new and existing products, your role is critical in helping deliver world-class service for our customers.
-The Business Analyst will lead research and analysis on products to work with Product Leadership teams to define and document product vision and strategy to determine future product capabilities by reviewing existing client needs, utilize their subject matter expertise, knowledge about competitive products, industry trends, and industry standards.

-Business Analysts are experts in seeking out work, and understanding stakeholder needs independently, and have proven they can successfully work in high pressure and high complex team environments.

-They will take on a leadership role in mentoring, guiding, and developing the product analysis community.

-You will help to lead activities to support business agility within the organization and contribute to the implementation of Product strategy.

-This role also maintains auditing and regulatory compliance of product requirements.

Responsibilities:

-Anticipate customer needs and potential issues and provide value-based solutions for them.
-Deep understanding of product vision and roadmap and communicate it to others.
-Anticipate, document, and deliver customer product requirements at an increased velocity.
-Identify and lead activities to support business agility within the organization.
-Work with leadership to develop and execute risk mitigation plans.
-Lead in development and delivery of presentations to audiences of varying organizational roles and hierarchy levels.
-Contribute to financial analysis and create business cases from a product value perspective to drive product implementation activities.
-Contribute to financial analysis for product initiatives and roadmaps.
-Demonstrates understanding of methods to gather market insights and analyze competitive landscape through partnership with Market Research and/or direct participation in key activities; Interprets and use the analyses to inform and recommend product strategy across the product lifecycle.
-Demonstrate and act as a role model for our United culture.
-Be a change agent for others, helping them to accept and deal with change.
-Demonstrate independence and confidence; mentoring, guiding, and developing less experienced PAs (Program Analyst) on analysis concepts, methodologies, and practices. -Leading as a change agent in the adoption and evolution of methodologies and practices.
-Proactively seek out work and challenges where you can expand your knowledge and experiences.
-Can constructively challenge current thinking not only within your direct team/organization, but across the enterprise.
-Holds self accountable for meeting high performance standards and agreed upon deliverables, taking responsibility for outcomes of decisions and actions.
-Manage, mitigate, and resolve team conflict.

A Business Analyst (28) would have the following additional responsibilities:
-Identify and lead process improvement opportunities.
-Support implementation of new product analysis standard practices.
-Conduct various studies and manage outcomes that include analyzing, reviewing, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning.
-Contribute to implementation of product analysis organizational strategy.
-Demonstrate a high level of business and organizational maturity.

Heavy emphasis is given on:
Advanced business analysis and Agile training. (internal or external)
Business Analysis Certifications such as the IIBA CBAP, CCBA, CPOA (or others).
Agile Certification (such as Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org).
Demonstrate advanced product analysis and business analysis proficiencies in all core skills.
Advanced experience using Agile application lifecycle management software (ex: Rally, JIRA) utilizing boards, reports, views to support traceability and strategic planning across teams.
Have at least 3 years of experience working on an Agile Team
Have at least 3-5 years of practical experience, and advanced knowledge, to easily perform the core BA/PA tasks independently
