Remote (Preferably New Jersey or Dallas)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, automating, and certifying Observability capabilities for Google Cloud Platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and automate cloud services using technologies such as Terraform.
    Implement and manage Observability tools and APIs to monitor and improve cloud infrastructure.
    Certify cloud services in a financial services environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    Implement and manage DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
    Collaborate with various departments to understand their cloud infrastructure needs and provide effective solutions.
    Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud services.
    Maintain detailed documentation of cloud infrastructure and processes.
    Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technology.
Qualifications:
    Minimum 5 years of cloud automation experience, with 8+ years preferred.
    Hands-on experience with cloud provider platforms, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform.
    Strong development expertise.
    Strong experience with Terraform.
    Experience with Observability tools and APIs.
    Experience with DevOps pipelines.
    Experience automating deployment of cloud services.
    Experience certifying cloud services.
    Financial Services experience preferred.
    Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
    Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
