| Share me resume at [email protected] Role : AWS System Administrator Location : This is a remote role supporting a federal client- candidates must work east coast hours. Rate : $50/hr. C2C Need USC/H4-EAD only.. AWS System Administrator to provide support for daily operations and maintenance of a federal customer network that includes Linux and Windows AWS EC2 instances, S3 storage buckets, Syslog and CloudWatch logging and other AWS services. This individual will be responsible for configuring, modifying and manage Linux & Windows servers, including OS patching and upgrading, that support multiple applications. This individual will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and applications environments. This individual will ensure that all system and related procedures adhere to organizational values for a program supporting a federal customer. Required Skills: Yrs of experience Expert Linux and Windows administration, monitoring, troubleshooting skills, including but not limited to scripting and Nagios Core experience Expert knowledge of administering and troubleshooting AWS services including CloudFormation Expert knowledge of AWS cost efficiency strategies Demonstrated experience of creating, executing and troubleshooting Ansible playbooks Demonstrated experience of Active Directory experience and Windows Server Local Group Policies Working Knowledge of Network protocols Ability to create/maintain system/software diagrams/documents Desired Skills: AWS Solutions Architect Professional Understanding of Git and Subversion repositories Understanding of IPSec site-to-site VPNs Knowledge vulnerability scanners and network intrusion prevention devices Experience in evaluating solution alternatives, design and communicating recommendations to the program team Education Requirements: Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline, with 8+ years of prior relevant professional experience, or a Masters degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
