| Role : PEOPLESOFT SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT Visa Status: GC,USC Experience: 15 LinkedIn profile and managerial references must Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly experienced PeopleSoft Solutions Architect to join the team of our client, UMGC, for a fully remote contract opportunity. This is an exciting project focused on implementing and integrating student information systems. The Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the integration strategies align with the overall technical and business objectives, while addressing operational needs and system requirements. Key Responsibilities: Integration Strategy & Architecture: Develop, define, and refine the technical and operational requirements for the integration of PeopleSoft with other education technology platforms, including student information systems and curriculum management systems. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand new requirements and ensure alignment with the overall integration roadmap and strategic objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with development and integration teams to ensure that the solution is scalable, secure, and integrated seamlessly with existing systems and infrastructure. System Integration & Optimization: Oversee the integration process, ensuring that new functionalities are efficiently integrated into the existing PeopleSoft system, leveraging a thorough understanding of data models and architecture. Technical Leadership & Guidance: Lead and provide guidance on high-level architecture decisions, ensuring that technical solutions align with business needs and objectives. Operational Refinement: Ensure that operational needs are carefully refined and aligned with the technical requirements for successful project delivery. PeopleSoft Expertise: Leverage deep experience with PeopleSoft to optimize data exchange processes, integration points, and system compatibility. Education Technology Integration: Provide insight into integrations with other education technology platforms (such as curriculum management systems and student information systems), ensuring smooth interoperability and data exchanges. Strategic Oversight: Take a strategic approach to the overall architecture while carefully addressing operational details to guarantee project success from start to finish. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with a strong focus on PeopleSoft integrations. Minimum of 5 years of experience in PeopleSoft system architecture and integration. Prior experience in the education sector, particularly with student information systems, is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Expertise in PeopleSoft and its data models, including integration strategies for connecting to various systems. Strong experience with integration tools and middleware used for connecting PeopleSoft to other enterprise applications. Familiarity with curriculum management systems, student information systems, and other education technology platforms is beneficial. Deep understanding of systems integration, APIs, and data exchange protocols. Certifications: Relevant certifications in PeopleSoft architecture or related technologies would be a plus. Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to manage and oversee complex projects from conception to completion. Additional Information: Remote Work: This position is fully remote, but candidates must reside in EST or CST time zones to align with client and team requirements.
