| From: Vijay Chepyala, Talent Group [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role : Manual QA Location: Charlotte, NC, United States (Onsite from day one) Duration: 12+month contract Job Description: Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of end-to-end testing experience including: requirements analysis, test case design and development, testing execution, maintenance Experience in Agile and Waterfall environments Experience with one of more of the following testing tools: UFT, HP ALM, or Quality Center, JMeter Experience of working with offshore counterpart leading through detail level of coordination for QA deliveries. Experience with SQL queries to review and update test data Experience with Database relationship models Experience functioning in a QA lead capacity for testing projects Preferred Skills: Test data management, Test environment management Testing batch support and operations Ensure self and others' adherence to enterprise testing standards, frameworks, and controls Processes: - SAFe/Agile, SDLC, Test Management and Automation Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills Experience in developing and understanding of HTML, XML, CSS, and experience in using version control tools like SVN, Git, GitHub Financial services industry experience and annuity domain knowledge Test automation experience using Selenium or Cucumber Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information System, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study or related experience POSITION OVERVIEW : Manual QA Job Responsibilities Include: Working directly with Development and Business Analysts team along with business customer and testing team members to understand business use cases, design and execute tests for them Working with business and development teams to understand application workflows and plan for the testing of such workflows by defining appropriate test cases Preparing and Executing Manual test cases based on client requirements. Preparing Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Estimations, and Test Documents for manual and automated testing processes Communicating with business partners as well as internal and external technical teams including working with remote and offshore teams Participating in Requirements gathering sessions to determine that the requirements fairly represent what the user needs and documented, to determine the user requirements are testable and can be accepted for Quality Assurance activities. Preparing Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Designs, Test cases, Test Summary Reports and Test Metrics. Reviewing all QA deliverables to meet needs and expectation of the customer. Involve in Smoke, Functional and Regression Testing. Responsible for leading the team of both offshore and onshore members. Involve in planning and delegation of work to the resources and tracking the status. Involve in Daily standups, Sprint plannings, Story grooming, Sprint demos, Sprint retrospectives and backlog refinements resulting in on-time delivery. Responsible for performing Mobile testing using IOS and ANDROID devices by using Giga fox and Sauce Labs. Perform API testing with different methods on POSTMAN tool Involve in microservice testing, migrating from user security data rsv1 to new microservice Identity profile management. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system ALM, and report defects to software developers Identification of manual test cases to be automated and automating using Automation Tool Selenium. Worked closely with Automation team to identify Test cases and Test data for Mobile Automation testing. Involve in Automation Failed Test script report analysis. Responsible for effectively managing defects in defect management tool. Defect management often involves conducting defect triage calls with Stake holders and technical teams to reviews defects. Defect management also involves assigning defects to responsible person who can fix the code to meet the business requirement outlined in requirement document Coordinating the evaluation of test outcomes with appropriate teams which involves conducting a series of meetings with stake holders to review test results to ensure that testing outcomes meets stake holders business needs.
