Job Title Business Systems Analyst Project Location San Bernardino, CA Duration 12 Months Contract Phone Interview Followed By Skype Job Description : Required Experience Business Systems Analyst HW/SW Licensing for Financial Information Systems Duration: 12 months + extension Location: San Bernardino, California VISA: OPEN Matchpointe Group, Inc seeking an experienced BSA, knowledgeable in IT services offerings related to hardware/software for financial systems to work for a government client headquartered in San Bernardino, California. You will be responsible for the usual BSA duties of analyzing business processes, determining requirements, and utilizing best practices to determine how to implement those requirements. But this position will be specifically responsible for the Financial Information Systems Departments hardware and software licenses with the intent to restructure services offerings. This position will require a thorough understanding of enterprise information technology services, including related hardware such as servers, storage, routers, and switches and also software such as IBM, Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare, and NetApp OCI. The position will also require a thorough understanding of service rate setting methodologies specifically related to enterprise information technology in a government setting. General Responsibilities Strong ability to gather business requirements and develop functional/technical specifications. Strong understanding of the full end-to-end business processes. Strong ability to problem-solve, design, and implement solutions. Ability to create detailed project documents including but not limited to a Charter, Business Requirements, Recommendation Reports, etc. Knowledge of procurement related tasks, such as product research and comparison tables, as well as an understanding of related documents including quotes, contracts, terms and conditions, etc. Specific Skills and Qualifications Experience in project management and leadership. Experience solving technical issues related to software compliance and end user license agreements. Proficient understanding of end user license agreements and other software licensing or software support contracts. Software license compliance experience such as software licensing reviews and audits. Cost allocation experience for staffing and other costs for various IT service rates. Experience with enterprise information technology services, including related hardware such as, but not limited to, servers, storage, routers, and switches. Experience with enterprise software such as, but not limited to, IBM, Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare, and NetApp OCI. Experience with service rate setting methodologies specifically related to enterprise information technology in a government setting. Advanced MS Excel skills. Experience and Education: Bachelors degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business/Public Administration or any closely related field. At least 3 years experience performing business systems analysis, preferably with at least one year lead role experience in managing IT related projects. Must Have Experience negotiating hw/sw licenses and service rate setting methodologies 3-5 years software BSA experience Bachelors degree in related field 1 year assignment full-time on-site in downtown San Bernardino.
