Only accepting local candidates already nearby to Alpharetta Georgia About this role: A QA Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications. They work closely with the development team to create automated tests that can run efficiently and reliably, helping to identify bugs and performance issues before software is released. The role requires a solid understanding of software testing principles, programming skills, and the ability to use various automation tools. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 5+ years of experience in QA automation or software development. Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby. Automation Tools: Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Cucumber BDD, Selenium, Appium, or Cypress. Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git. CI/CD Integration: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Bug Tracking Tools: Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or ALM. Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
