Job Description:- 1.General Database Administrator (DBA) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator(DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our database enviornments.The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of experience working with Oracle datbases and should be well-versed in database server and query performance improvements. Knowledge of SQL Server and PostgreSQL is a plus. Key Responsibilities: 1. Adminster, maintain and optimize Oracle databases in production development and testing environments. 2. Proactively monitor database health, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of Oracle database systems. 3. Perform database tuning, Query Optimization, and performance troubleshooting to improve the efficiency and responsiveness of databases. 4. Identify and resolve issues related to database performance, such as slow queries, indexing, and inefficient data access patterns. 5. Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions for Oracle databases. 6. Collaborate with application developers, infrastructure teams, and dataarchitects to optimize database performance and design. 7. Plan and execute database upgrades, patches and migrations while minimizing downtime. 8. Ensure data integrity, security and compliance with relevant regulations and policies. 9. Provide on-call support for critical database-related issues and incidents. 10. Document database configurations, tuning efforts and troubleshooting procedures for future reference. Good to Have : 1. Experience working with SQL Server and PostgreSQL database including administration, performance tuning and optimization. 2. Knowledge of database replication,clustering and high availability solutions across multiple platforms. Qualifications: 1. 4-10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database administration. 2. Strong expertise in Oracle performance tuning,query Optimization, and troubleshooting. 3. Proficiency in database backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN. 4. Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard and ASM is a plus. 5. Familiarity with SQL Server and PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning is a strong advantage. 6. Excellent communication and collaboration Skills. 7. Relevant Oracle certification are aplus(e.g., Oracle Certificate Professional - OCP). -- Note: Email is the best way to reach me.
