ASET is managed by Arizonas State CIO and serves as an information technology leader for the AZ government. ASETs Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) provides project management services that align to Arizona's Strategic IT Plan. ASETs EPMO is looking for someone who is passionate, highly skilled, committed to successful project execution and superior customer service to join our team. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case. Job Duties: Manage multiple complex and high visibility enterprise projects Serves as project champion embracing and articulating project goals, objectives and outcomes for projects such as cloud technologies, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, digitization, enterprise-wide applications and managed partnerships Manage the project team to drive results and successes; Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities Manages the entire project life cycle from discovery through lessons learned Facilitates team/stakeholder interactions, meetings and communications Works with project resources, including procurement and vendor, to assure project health Ensure the team is working together and step in when needed Understands, monitors and reports on project tasks, milestones and deliverables. Document and report on project management activities Guides project teams to define requirements or stories/sprints/backlogs Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary Balances priorities among multiple projects/subprojects Plan, budget, monitor and report on the project with project management tools. Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions.
