This role is with a direct client and requires candidates with a strong SAP FICO background and hands-on SAP FICA project experience. The ideal candidate will have at least one full life cycle implementation under their belt and expertise in both functional design and configuration. Responsibilities Design, configure, and implement SAP Finance modules (FICO/FICA). Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions. Provide conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs and perform necessary SAP configurations. Write detailed specifications for custom programs and oversee development, testing, and deployment. Ensure seamless integrations with third-party applications for P2P, O2C, and R2R processes. Conduct payment setups, manage card settlements, and handle revenue management including COPA. Configure and manage processes such as EBS, treasury, SPL, and intercompany. Lead post-go-live support and troubleshooting efforts. Evaluation Focus For FICO Background Candidates: Expertise in P2P, O2C, R2R processes, and card settlements. Integration experience with third-party applications and tax services (e.g., Vertex). Treasury experience, including EBS and intercompany processes. Revenue management, COPA, SPL, and master data setup. For FICA Background Candidates: Proficiency in BITs vs. EDRs and commerce transaction recording. Billing and invoicing setup. Integration expertise with third-party systems, tax services, and data transfer systems. Hands-on experience with BODS extractions, payment card settlements, and balance transfers. Strong understanding of COPA, SPL, and intercompany processes. Required Qualifications Minimum Experience: 5-10 years in SAP FICO/FICA/RMCA. At least one full life cycle SAP implementation. Strong understanding of accounting concepts and SAP financial processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver presentations. Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or CA qualification is highly preferred. Prior experience in high-tech or software industries is an advantage. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA. Integration experience with tax services like Vertex. Expertise in COPA, revenue management, and master data setup.
