Duration: 5 month Visa: US Citizen or Green Card and live in the Minneapolis area Job Description: The Big Data Engineer will design, build, and execute high-performance, data-centric solutions using our comprehensive big data capabilities. We seek a professional who can build and optimize data products to bring data and analytics products and solutions to our businesses. You will contribute to designing solutions for our client's big data and advanced analytics solutions, aligned with requirements. Responsibilities: Configure and develop data pipelines to move and optimize data assets. Develop technical solutions using big data and Cloud-based technologies. Provide necessary technical support through all phases of testing and incident handle after deployment. Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Requirements 2 years of Big Data work experience. 3 or more years of experience working with Hadoop or other big data platform and building solutions that deliver value through leveraging data as an asset. 2 or more years of experience in SQL scripting, Java, and Python. Applied experience with Cloud platforms. Applied experience in reporting tools including Power BI, Tableau, etc. Must have Bachelors Degree in a related field.
