Database Architecture & Collaboration: Work with engineering teams to implement scalable and reliable database architectures for both cloud and on-premises environments. Operational Support & Reliability: Oversee database operations, including backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions. Documentation & Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvements by documenting database development procedures and enhancing overall database performance. Bonus Skills: Support data integration using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and provide expertise in reporting with SSRS and Power BI. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: 7+ years of experience in SQL Server and Azure database engineering, with a strong focus on Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL Managed Instances. Advanced SQL/T-SQL & Query Optimization: In-depth expertise in T-SQL development and query optimization for scalable, efficient database solutions. Azure Data Factory & DevOps: Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and DevOps practices for cloud-based data solutions. Bonus Skills: Experience with SSRS, Power BI, and ETL processes using SSIS is a plus.
