The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java programming, experience with relational databases, and a solid understanding of backend frameworks and architecture. You will play a key role in building robust, scalable, and high-performance systems. Key Responsibilities: Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Java. API Integration: Build and integrate RESTful web services and third-party APIs. Database Management: Work with SQL/NoSQL databases to store and retrieve data efficiently (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Performance Optimization: Ensure the application runs efficiently by identifying bottlenecks, optimizing code, and implementing best practices. Security: Implement security measures, including data encryption, authentication, and authorization. Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and ensure the application is reliable and bug-free. Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements and implement solutions. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of the backend code and API endpoints. Maintenance and Upgrades: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement upgrades as necessary. Requirements: Proven Experience: 7+ years of experience in Java backend development. Strong Knowledge of Java: Proficient in Java, with experience using frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar. Database Expertise: Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). API Development: Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration. Version Control: Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows. Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus. Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good Communication Skills: Ability to work in a collaborative environment and effectively communicate technical ideas. Preferred Skills: Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of microservices architecture. Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Node.js, React) is a plus. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
