| From: Shailendra, Tekpyramids [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Equity Support Engineer NYC, NY Hybrid role Need to be in or close to NY Onsite Interview Long Term contract Visa: Any Qualifications: 3+ years of experience developing solutions and supporting an Equity line of business (i.e., US Market Making, ETF, Electronic Trading, Global Program Trading, Options) Script development experience with excellent usage of SQL Understand trading activities and market data feeds Fundamental understanding of database modeling and ETL type applications. Knowledge of FIX messaging protocol Proficient in handling regulatory or compliance related requests (i.e. Reg NMS, ACT, CAT) Experience working on a trading floor supporting mission critical applications Ability to multitask several ongoing issues. This involves the ability to assess priority and make appropriate decisions quickly and effectively. Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience in at least 1 of the following platforms Flextrade, Fidessa. Experience with scripting and automation is a plus.
