Project Manager for ERP Replacement Project

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced

project manager to function as the District Project Manager, reporting to our ERP Program Manager and assisting them in leading the implementation of our new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.This
role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and experience implementing SaaS systems and the corresponding changes to an organizations business processes. This role will lead the Project Management Team for the Jeffco ERP Project. They
will be responsible for working alongside the districts ERP Program Manager, and leading the IT Project Manager and the contracted Implementation Partners project management team to track project health, quality assurance and change

control, managing schedule and risks, stakeholder management, and issue tracking.

This position will assist in leading the Project Management Team to develop, maintain, and execute or oversee the execution
of the:

Project Charter

Project Schedule

Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions (RAID) log

Stakeholder Register

Business process mapping and re-engineering

Configuration

Data conversion

Interfaces/integrations

Change Control plan

Change Management Plan

Testing

Training

Cutover Plan, Go-Live, and Post Go-Live support The District Project Manager will oversee the Functional Leads (FLs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to keeptheir
functional areas on track, coordinate between the vendor project team and business resources, and coordinate between functional teams. Duties will include:

Lead the Project Management Team (PMT) and facilitate PMT meetings

Facilitate communication and collaboration within the PMT and with all Functional Leads and Vendor resources

Manage execution of the project plan and provide status updates to the Project Leadership Team and ERP Program Manager

Act as the main point of contact for the Project Management Team

Act as the main point of escalation for all Functional Leads

Coordinate with the ERP Program Manager and the Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead t incorporate and execute change management strategies within the
project team.

Maintain the project schedule

Identify and track issues, coordinate response, and escalate as necessary.

Identify and track risks and coordinate mitigation planning

Escalate scope, resource, and budget requests to the Project Leadership Team

Coordinate with the ERP Program Manager to lead issue resolution at the PMT level and escalate issue to the PLT in accordance with the Project Governance Plan.

Assist the ERP Program Manager with the administration of the software vendor contracts and monito compliance with terms and conditions

In their role as the head of the PMT, the District Project Manager will lead the PMT to:

Assist with coordination on completion of project tasks

Manage the project scope, deliverables, and timeline with assistance from other PMT members

Assist in identifying and engaging key stakeholders

Attend weekly PMT meetings (internal and those with the vendor)

Recommend action/approval of vendor deliverables and milestones to the PLT

Assist with resolving escalated issues from PMs and FLs

Assist with reviewing project management vendor deliverables (if applicable)

Assist with the change control process

Assist with identifying and refining recommendations on business process and organizational change decisions forwarded
by the PM and functional leads (FLs), presenting them to the PLT for consideration.

Review and make recommendations to the

PLT on retaining third-party point solution applications asneeded

Review and approve other recommendations from the PMs and FLs, escalating to the PLT as needed

To succeed in this role:

Experience leading functional, collaborative project teams

A track record of deploying operational efficiencies and intuitive end-user experiences

Strong understanding of IT systems and SaaS implementations

Strong understanding of business process improvement

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Proficient in project management tools and methodologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related

field.

Proven experience overseeing enterprise-level technology projects, with a focus on software

implementations

7+ years program/project management, with experience leading complex technology initiatives and a

team of project managers

PMP, Scrum Master, ITIL, or equivalent certifications Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience managing people and projects related to migrations from on-premise to SaaS solutions

Experience implementing or supporting

ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Workday

Functional knowledge of HR and Finance services, with an understanding of their needs and challenges

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Collaborative mindset

Ability to learn, understand, and evaluate technologies

Ability to analyze and document complex technical business processes

Initiative, can-do attitude, a compulsion to lean in to listen and learn

When presented with challenges, brings forward solutions

Ability to work well within a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment

Exceptional attention to detail with strong project management competencies

Self-motivated, ability to work independently and possesses an intuition for when to bring in leadership

for advice, guidance, and decision making

Demonstrated experience presenting to senior level executives

Duration of Engagement:

Duration of the ERP implementation project is expected to last through approximately July 2027. That

duration is dependent upon the software vendor and implementation partner that are selected and may

be shorter or longer in duration.

This position is expected to work on-site alongside District staff, unless otherwise arranged with the ERP

Program Manager.

It is estimated that this position will require an average of 20-30 hours per week, but will have phases of

the project that will require more or less.
